Mission

To enhance faculty’s position along Arabic and International level, as a special faculty inside an Egyptian University and to increase its competition ability along both levels regional and international, through out what being provided for prospective students, which will have an effect on enhancing scientific educational quality and develop its staff members and administrative hierarchy level. We are aiming to increase appealing factors, by presenting faculty’s excellence, through providing services for prospective students, who are going to be faculty’s ambassadors in their countries.

Vision

To preserve Suez Canal University’s position as one of best Arabic and African universities.

To make sure that office’s vision, is to provide different number of services for prospective students and facilitate administrative admission procedures.

We are aiming to make our office a pioneer, special, ambitious office and a trusted place administrating and technological along faculty’s system, as an educational, research and accredit place according to global guidelines.

Major goals of the office

  • To support faculty’s position as one of best Egyptian faculties.
  • To provide information of all educational programs at the faculty and applying terms.
  • To facilitate and follow up applying, registering and graduation for prospective students.
  • To spread importance of prospective students and caring them inside the faculty and to staff members, administrators and prospective students registered at the faculty.
  • To provide total care for prospective students inside the faculty.
  • To help in solving educational, residence and other problems inside and outside the faculty.

  • Medical care programs
  • Providing a clinic at the faculty including: 1 doctor and 2 nurses available all the year and are in charge of managing medical centers, where medical check and exchange medicines in emergency cases and others that need special care. Students are shifted to University hospital and the faculty will in charge of paying all fees.

Social care programs

First: residence

It is for providing accommodation places for prospective students at dormitories and other places following Suez Canal University and this is in case of fees payment.

Second: Feeding

There is a central restaurant at the University, where student could take feeding ticket with low prices.

Academic support programs

Doing training workshops in computer and different languages.

Presence of data base includes all information of prospective students, as to facilitate communication with the faculty, procedures and to add student guide.

Scientific pioneer

Presence of this system is for introducing prospective students about systems, policies and activities of educational organization. To direct and help them during their academic year.

The faculty is following scientific pioneer system with all students in all years, including prospective students, which is to follow them academically, direct and help them to get over any un-expected problem they might face. A report is done and sent to sides who are in concern.

There are electronic courses to allow prospective students follow their courses at the faculty in case they are out Egypt.

  • To enhance internal information network at the faculty.
  • To ensure and up-date infrastructure of the faculty.

Vision

The community services center of the faculty of Pharmacy at Suez Canal University seeks to be a pioneer competitive center as well as to provide the community services which Greatness University’s role in community services.

Goals

To help the University attain its mission, even students education and training or in research field, which is done by:

  • Doing training workshops in field of pharmacy sciences.
  • Participating in convoys, that distributes free drug samples, to serve Canal and Sinai community.
  • Providing researches and consults for others, in field of pharmacy sciences.
  • Doing technical researches, through organizing unique scientific conferences, in cooperation with universities and authorities on both levels, global and Arab.

Academic advising unit works on providing consultancy and needed information for the students, along all academic years, to find out their problems they’re facing that is related to the educational process of all courses. In addition, it creates a connection link between the student and the administrative board (Dean- Vice deans- department’s heads). The unit receives students’ problems, which are related to education or academic falter, as to be solved.

Mission 

We strive to offer needed guidance and support for all students in different academic years, enabling them to develop their skills and achieve optimum abilities through providing academic guidance and personal and professional support. Moreover, supporting failing or excellent students, developing their personalities academically and socially, and improving their skills in different areas.

Goals

•Offering individual and grouping support for students through specialized committees that tackle their academic and personal needs.

•Providing specialized academic support for students to help them outline their academic and professional path and develop their studies. 

•Spread awareness among students regarding the academic regulations, help them to understand the educational plan and its systems, and help students choose their courses to acquire the appropriate scientific degree.

•Multi-level support for those who face academic or personal challenges for failing and special needs students, besides helping them to overcome those challenges. 

•Enhance the academic uniquity and excellence culture using motivating programs, supporting excellent students, and directing talented students to attain their total potential.

•Spread continuous learning culture and develop students' academic and personal skills.

•Organize students' conferences and events that enrich social and academic communication and participation between students and support leading and organizing skills.

•Offering academic guidance and professional advisory chances for students to help them make future decisions.

Communicate with the Faculty of Pharmacy graduates and follow up with them. 

Mission

Link with the Faculty of Pharmacy- Suez Canal University graduate to follow up on their career path and scientific progression and cooperate with them for faculty's scientific and material

Strategic goals:

•Qualify an electronic database for faculty graduates.

•Contact the graduates to track their career path and scientific progression.

•Put faculty graduates' suggestions into-consideration and rewrite the mission and goals when outlining the strategic plan. 

•Participate with the graduates in environmental awareness and formulating the mission and goals when outlining the strategic plan. 

•Introduce the graduates to continuous learning courses to improve their abilities. 

•Contact the users to track the graduate's performance.

•Establish a "graduates platform" for faculty's graduates.

 

Vision

The unit strives to attain leadership and excellence in the measurement and assessment domain locally and regionally.

Mission

The measurement and assessment unit seeks to follow the technological development to gain the labour market's reliability and achieve education quality through developing a measurement and assessment system to ensure justice and transparency so graduate distinctive human cadres can compete in the labour market.

Strategic goals:

•Spread awareness regarding the measurement and assessment.

•Coach the academic staff members, their cooperators, students, and administrators.

•Measure all categories of satisfaction concerning measurement and assessment systems.

•Prepare statistics regarding the development of the measurement systems.

•Apply the electronic correction.

•Apply for the electronic exams.

•Analyze exam results and make appropriate decisions in the frame of those results.

Vision 

The electronic exams unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Suez Canal University looks forward to being recognized locally and internationally in offering electronic exams services for the Faculty of Pharmacy students.

Mission 

The electronic exams unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy supports faculty's students by evaluating their skills and knowledge related to various programs' courses by offering different exams using methods assure fair, honest, and fixed results. The electronic exams unit at the Faculty of Pharmacy committed to keep the professional level when applying the electronic exams and develop them to meet all members' requirements in the educational process.

Strategic goals:

•Support faculty's departments to develop students' and exams' assessment methods and results announcement, besides using them in developing and improving the educational process output. 

•Prepare trained cadres (academic staff members- cooperative body) from faculty's departments to do the electronic exams using various electronic systems.

•Provide departments requirements including experts specialized in the electronic exams domain. 

•Provide technical support for different electronic exams' departments.

•Encourage the departments to apply the electronic assessment systems (apply electronic exams and analyze exams' results).

•Follow students' and academic staff members' satisfaction indicators regarding the electronic exams systems.

•Revising and doing half annual reports related to electronic exams assessment and preparing executional plans for correction steps regarding weakness points and enhancing strength points. 

•Issue information and periodical statistics concerning development levels in applying electronic assessment systems.  

Vision

To put the faculty among distinctive Pharmacy faculties on the national and regional levels by achieving optimum performance and maintaining the continuous improvement for its outputs to attain accreditation for the offered educational courses. In addition to making the faculty a unique institution in the educational, research, and community service process. 

Mission

The unit makes every effort to spread quality culture and performance assessment among all elements of the educational process, research, and service activities offered by the faculty in the frame of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation guidelines, besides adopting a continuous improvement process for institutional and academic performance to promote graduates' efficiency and competing ability. Finally, to gain beneficiaries' satisfaction to achieve total quality and accreditation. 

Strategic goals:

•Establishing an internal quality and performance assessment system through:

•Create a quality system in the faculty to raise the offered educational system by the academic staff members and to develop the graduate to a unique level matching the national and global guidelines.

•Build mutual relations with quality assurance and accreditation authorities and institutions on the regional level by offering required experiences and providing technical support for those committees to attain accreditation.

•Gain society's credits regarding faculty educational process outputs by strengthening the relations between the faculty and the society to improve faculty's offered services. 

•Offer suggestions and recommendations about applying the quality system inside the faculty and execute those studies to achieve the unit's goals and qualify the faculty for total performance assessment for accreditation in the coming years. 

•Support continuous improvement processes by directing the heads towards development activities in each domain to continuously follow quality levels.

•Assure meeting all conditions and requirements of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation and qualify the faculty to obtain the accreditation.

  • Providing technical support in the field of quality assurance and accreditation.
  • Identifying the training needs of various groups in the college, including academic leaders, faculty members, administrators, and students, to promote awareness and training.
  • Preparing training plans based on the identified training needs of different groups, including training programs, workshops, conferences, seminars, and newsletters targeted at all groups.
  • Fully utilizing the training programs available through the university.
  • Activating, monitoring, and implementing training plans.
  • Evaluating the performance of training programs and preparing the necessary forms.
  • Submitting periodic and annual reports on training programs.
