Overview
The field of biochemistry is concerned with the study of biochemical reactions within the tissues of the organism and the knowledge of their paths and methods of control. It includes interactions of essential food elements of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, hormones, minerals, and vitamins and how to construct some essential biological compounds to maintain these interactions in a natural way so that growth continues. The Department also plans to teach clinical biochemistry and specializes in the pathways of metabolism in many diseases in modern ways, in addition to the introduction to genetic engineering and genes.
